The OPS Manager MAC Editor application provides a "single-point of entry" to Mitel Mail voice mail. The Move, Add, Change, and Delete workforms contain a Mitel voice mail section that allows you to enter voice mailbox data. After you commit a move, add, change, or delete operation, OPS Manager distributes your voice mailbox modifications to the NuPoint Messenger server. Note that voice mail data is not collected from the NuPoint Messenger servers. Therefore, you should only administer the voice mailboxes from OPS Manager.
Programming
-If OPS Manager is a part of Enterprise Manager , then the NuPoint Messenger Node should be added manually to Enterprise Manager , and the a Synch with Ops manager should be performed .
-Open Ops Manager network Element Editor and go to the NuPoint Messenger and Select the Associated PBX. And Commit
-Create NuPoint Messenger Default Add Profile
-Open Moves, Adds and Changes and click on Options then Policy Setup
-In the Policy Setup form go to the NuPoint Messenger Only Section and Click Manage Profiles , then Click New
-In New Profile Window , enter the Profile Name and In the Derive Profile Form section, enter NuPoint Server Name , and Enter an existing VoiceMail Box Number that you want the profile to match and Click Save.
-Ops Manager will communicate with The NuPoint Messenger Server and Pull the Profile template automatically , save the template to
C:/Program Files/Mitel/Opsmanager/Config/Voicemail/Profiles
-Under Policy Setup now you can choose the Profile as a Default Add profile
-To Add a Voicemail box
-Open Ops Manager Moves,Adds and Changes and click Change User
-Click Enable Voice Messaging , under Voice Mail Box location Click on Specify and Choose NuPoint from the Pull Down Menu then Change.
-If Ops Manager fail to establish communication with NuPoint Messenger due to Network problem it will give error fail to create Voice Mail Box.
