| Enable the SDS feature on each element that will be included in the network or cluster. SDS is disabled by default. To enable SDS on a 3300 ICP system: 1/. Ensure that the element is upgraded to Release 6.0 or later. See Upgrading Elements for Data-Sharing. 2/. Ensure that the element is not a member of any other data-sharing network. If the element is sharing data with another network, remove the element from that network. See Removing a Data-Sharing Element for more information. 3/. In the System Options Assignment form of the element, click Change. 4/. Set the System Data Synchronization option to Yes. When this option is set to Yes, the system data can be configured to be shared within the network or cluster. When the option is set to No, data sharing with any other system is not possible. 5/. Click Save. After you log out and log back into the System Administration Tool, the following SDS forms will be added to the form menu: 1/. Shared Data Updates 2/. Shared Forms Configuration 3/ . Form Comparison The shared form icon will appear beside the forms that are configured as shared forms: |

It is then best to reboot the controller once you have switched on SDS otherwise you may get Script Errors when starting SDS synchronisation to an element. |
